He is survived by: his daughters, Tamara Brumfield (Will) of Newark, OH, Tracy Crosby (Mark) of Duncan, SC, Tricia Mullens (Bill) of Medina, OH and Amanda Sheets (Brian Moore) of Thornville, OH; his stepchildren, Jennie Anahata and Jason Peck; his grandchildren, Rachel Brumfield of Tempe, AZ, Robert Brumfield (Autumn) of Phoenix, AZ, Ryan Brumfield of Newark, OH, Paige Crosby of Greenville, SC, Courtney Crosby of Greenville, SC and Christopher Mullens of Medina, OH; his brother David Sheets (Vicki); his sisters-in-law, Molly Sheets and Mary Ellen Fields; his close friends, Mary Ann Pursley, Marcia Gordon and Julie Sheets; and his pet Shadow. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Brucker and Kishler Funeral Home (985 N 21st St, Newark, OH 43055). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 at the Newark Memorial Gardens (4244 Marion Rd NE, Newark, OH 43055).
