He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Ashcraft and Lucy Ashcraft (Lippert); and his brother Fred Ashcraft. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Loedeman; his daughter Carrie Edwards (Kevin) of New Jersey; his grandchildren, Zack Edwards of Oklahoma and Alyssa Meyer (Brett) of Vermont; his great grandchild Matthew Meyer; and his siblings, Becky Wolford (Bill) of Frazeysburg, Donna Totten of Newark and Louie Ashcraft (Karen) of Frazeysburg.
