He was predeceased by: his parents, Douglas M. Stirling and Ruth Stirling (Fotheringham); and his wife Judith Stirling (Stringham). He is survived by: his children, Michael Douglas Stirling, Jr. (Kristin), Todd Alan Stirling (Melissa), Scott Walter Stirling (Jill), Rodney Miles Stirling (Aimee), Traci Lynne Bell (Craig) and Robyn Lynne Lewis (Andy); and his siblings, Robert Stirling (Patricia) and Kathleen Todd (Byron). He is also survived by twenty-four grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (3300 Kearns Dr, Zanesville, OH 43701).
