It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leonard Gene Smith of Frazeysburg, Ohio, born in Zanesville, Ohio, who passed away on July 29, 2020, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard E. Smith and Isabelle Smith (Deal); and his brother Ron Smith. He is survived by: his wife Dorothy E. Smith (Ashcraft); his sons, Michael D. Smith of Nashport and Jeffrey Smith (KC) of Frazeysburg; his grandchildren, Adam Smith, David Smith (Kayela), Matthew Smith (Abby) and Ali Smith; his great grandchild Kyiah Smith; and his siblings, Charles Smith of Lancaster, Ohio, Madeline Shaver of Zanesville and Janice Willis of South Carolina.
