She was predeceased by: her husband Melvin L. Nethers; her siblings, Janet Bero, Evan Smith, Howard Smith (Pat), Jim Smith, Merle Smith and Terry Nethers (Sue); her sister-in-law Karen Nethers; and her pet Buddy.
She is survived by: her children, Marsha L. Short (Denny Acord) of Newark, Matthew L. Nethers (Janet) of Toboso, Mark L. Nethers (Christine) of Ypsilanti, MI, Mary Lou Nethers (Bryan Smith) of Toboso and Merl L. Nethers (Julie) of Delaware, OH; her grandchildren, Jeff Spring (Stacy), Jacqueline Archer (Taylor), Alicia Unger (Brandon), Brian Nethers (Karen), Marshall Nethers (Daniel Gotthardt), Morgan McDaniel (Branden), Courtney Branscome (Scott), Matthew Orenchuk (Amanda), Steven Nethers, Christopher Orenchuk (Katy), Justin Nethers (Jessica), Dan Nethers (Sarah), Ryan Nethers and Scott Nethers; her sister Bev King of Newark; her brothers-in-law, Doug Nethers (Brenda Atwood) of Toboso, Mike Hatfield and Bryan Lewis (Shelia); and her nieces and nephews, Levi, Lainey and Ethan Lewis. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Toboso United Methodist Church, Midland Theatre, or Licking Valley Food Pantry.
