He was predeceased by: his parents, Gustav W. Peterson Sr. and Anna Mae Walker. He is survived by: the mother of his children Donna Brooks Peterson; his children, Gustav Peterson III and Valerie Hunter (Tad); and his grandchildren, Brook Peterson, Allyson Peterson and Cheyenne Miller. He is also survived by five cats.
