He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray E. Harlan and Viola M. Harlan (Gundolph); and his brothers, Paul, Max and Howard Harlan.
He is survived by: his wife Sherryl Harlan (Watson); his children, Brian Harlan (Tracey) of Kingsland, GA, Roger Harlan (Amysta) of Stone Mountain, GA, Steven Harlan (Christina) of Ontario, CA and Casey Allen (Steven Hazward) of Durham, NC; his stepdaughters, Carrie Pickett of Frazeysburg, Karen Barnhart of Frazeysburg and Rose Barnhart of Frazeysburg; his brothers, Harold Harlan (Norma) and Eugene Harlan (Norma); his granddaughter Allanna Harlan; and his stepgrandchildren, Ranie, Bobby and Brandy.
