He was predeceased by: his father Garry Burnell; and his brothers, Timothy Burnell and Richard Burnell. He is survived by: his mother Arletha Ann Burnell (LaValley) of Constable; his wife Patricia Burnell; his children, Timothy Burnell (Danielle) of Columbia, Angela King (Spencer) of Washburn, Megan Seivert (Shane) of Wexford, PA and Andrew Seivert (Alyssa) of West Carrollton, OH; his grandchildren, Aubree Burnell, Timothy James Burnell and Carrigan Lynn King; his sisters, Lynn Gadway (Bob) of Brushton, NY and Geri Vanier (John) of Malone, NY; his sister-in-law Julie Burnell of Albany, GA; and his pet Cocoa. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Anderson Funeral Home (1357 E 2nd St, Franklin, OH 45005). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St Henry Catholic Church (6696 N Springboro Pike, Dayton, OH 45449). The military honors will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Dayton National Cemetery (4100 W Third St, Dayton, OH 45417).
