It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Virginia I. Stepp of Franklin, Ohio, who passed away on March 13, 2025, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Peters and Bertie Peters (Helton); her husband James E. Stepp; and her siblings, Kathleen King, Maxine Howard, Shirley Leach, Coy, Roy, Bill and Bob Peters.
She is survived by: her children, Susan Basye (Marc) and James H. Stepp (Heather); her grandchildren, Melissa Stepp, Candace Bruce, James M. Stepp (Ciera), Jennifer Basye (Adam), Zelik and Carole Basye; her great grandchildren, Nikki Loring, Deja Layman, Isiah Layman, Chloe Hughes, Kaylee Hughes, Riker Bray, Reece Bray, Rayne Bray, Ellis Zelik, Mikhail Stepp and Samuel Stepp; and her sister Lorene Deaton.
