It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mildred Smallwood of Franklin, Ohio, who passed away on February 19, 2024, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Mildred Smallwood to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Peck and Hannah Peck (Taylor); her husband Thurman "Buck" Smallwood; and her siblings, Earl, Ralph Peck, Oneida Stamper, Wanda Smallwood and Edith Helton.

She is survived by: her children, Karen Walters of Franklin, Delena Walters (Terry) of Franklin, Carolyn Ferrell (Anthony) of Frenchburg, KY and James Smallwood (Kim) of Middletown; her brothers, Glen Peck (Edith) of Maytown, KY and Dennie Peck (Kay) of Maytown, KY; her grandchildren, Missy Sendral (Todd), Carvel Walters, Robert Walters (Tosha), Jason Walters, Alisha Hayslett, Tina Johns (Mike), Trisha Walters, Tiffany Carty (Derrick), Derek Ferrell (Jordan), Rachel Girton (Kyle), Missy Bedwell (Jason) and Zac Sorrell; and her nephew Buck. She is also survived by 19 great grandchildren, 13 great-great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
