It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Marcia M. Cummins of Franklin, Ohio, who passed away on February 24, 2025, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Charles Everett Cummins; her parents, Charles Wilbur Kreps and Jeannette Johanna Kreps; her siblings, Charles William Kreps and Joan C. Aubel; and her grandson Grant Matthew Cummins.
She is survived by: her brother James T. Kreps of Warren; her children, Mark (Beverly) of Fairlawn, Kathy Bearer (Mark) of Bath, Denise Mitchell (James) of Canal Fulton, Diane Salamon (Jeff) of Portage Lakes and Dana Janini (Paul) of Green; her grandchildren, Luke Cummins, Eileen Cummins, Colleen Papp (Brandon), Christine Arnold (John), Michael Bearer (Christine), Steven Mitchell (Diana), Kevin Mitchell, Alexander Salamon, Jacob Salamon (Andrea), Christian Salamon (Kristin), Charles Janini (Alexander Slaughter), Daniel Janini and Edward Janini; and her great grandchildren, Jack Arnold, Chip Arnold, Aiden Mitchell, Ben Bearer and Noa Papp. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:20 PM at the St. Francis Desales Parish (4019 Manchester Rd, Akron, OH 44319). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 1:30 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Village of St. Edward Foundation, 3131 Smith Road, Akron, Ohio 44333, in memory of Marcia Mae Cummins.
