He is survived by: his sons, Leon Lamar III Wood (Carla), William "Scott" Wood (Debbie), James Edward Wood and John Harold Wood (Teri); his grandchildren, Heather, Jeremee, Brandon, Stephanie, Kristen, Jonathon and Jared; his great grandchildren, Carson, James, Gabe and Daxton; and his great great grandchild Rin. He is also survived by many step grandchildren; step great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
