She was predeceased by: her daughter Linda Kurkendall of Sheila Cox; and her grandchild Chad Selby of Shane Sparkman. She is survived by: her husband James W. Bethel; her sons, Joe Sparkman (Barbara), Martin Sparkman (Joanne) and Stanley Sparkman (Anne); and her sisters, Liza Eldridge, Ida Beal, Dorothy Hutchcraft and Gracie Lewis. She is also survived by 3 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren.
