He was predeceased by: his parents, Remedious Hounshell (Jacob) and Albert L. Hounshell; his brothers, A. Robert Hounshell, William "Bill" Hounshell and James Hounshell; his grandparents, Leslie and Maudie Hounshell; and his stepmother Sylvia Hounshell (Shelton).
He is survived by: his brother Carl; and his sisters-in-law, Shirley Hounshell, Vickie Hounshell and Peggy Hounshell. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
