He was predeceased by: his parents, Leroy Speicher and Mary Speicher (Flickenger); his siblings, Rosella Heck and Bob; his sister-in-law Laura Ann Speicher; and his brother Jim Speicher.
He is survived by: his wife Janet Corwin Haswell-Speicher; his children, Beth Wallace of New Philadelphia, Amy Yutzy (Ken), Berlin, Craig Speicher (Lisa) of New Philadelphia, Dirk Haswell (Chris) of Strasburg and Jason Haswell of Waterford, MI; his sister-in-law Linda Speicher of Louisiana; and his former wife Ann Oakleaf Wilson. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.
