He was predeceased by: his parents, Rae Sims (Elam) and James L. Sims; and his daughter Cynthia Janine Mostyn. He is survived by: his wife Judy Sims (Setser); his children, Jenny Degroat (Matt) and Shannon Sims; his son-in-law Marty Mostyn; his grandchildren, Danyelle Snyder (Cody), Nathan Scott and Caleb Mostyn; his great grandchildren, Kamryn and Raylin Snyder; his stepgrandchildren, Ben, Matt Jr. and Macy; and his brother James Dale Sims. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
