He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Brown and Carrie Brown. He is survived by: his wife Joyce; his daughter Michelle; his son-in-law Claus; his son Jason; his daughter-in-law Darby; and his grandchildren, Ethan and Griffin.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital (StJude.org), an organization Alton felt strongly about.
