He was predeceased by: his mother Clarice Salyers; and his siblings, Larry, Rodger, Stanley, Robert, Darrell, Dannie Salyers, Wilma Clark and Peggy Salyers.
He is survived by: his wife Helen Salyers (Jeanie); his daughter Wendy Salyers; his grandchildren, Tanner Salyers (Randi) of Mount Vernon and Heaven Bowman (Richie) of Portsmouth; his son Shane Salyers (Tara) of Ironton; his grandchildren, Cameron, Gage and Lydia Salyers; his great grandchildren, Wren Rosalie Salyers and Aryeh Rain Bowman; and his sisters, Carolyn Stapleton of Franklin Furnace, Audrey Dotson (Bill) of Franklin Furnace and Deborah Nash (Rick) of Franklin Furnace. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks friends to consider making contributions in Ralph's memory to the William Ralph Salyers Legacy Scholarship Fund through the Scioto Foundation. Checks can be made payable to the Scioto Foundation with the name of the scholarship in the memo line.
