It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruth Marie Carver of Franklin Furnace, Ohio, who passed away on February 22, 2025, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jack Gibson and Annalee Roberts; her daughter Shannon Preston; and her sisters, Linda Barga and Susan Cantrell.
She is survived by: her children, Craig Hartzell (Melissa), Dustin Hartzell (Brittany) and Amy Lewis (Josh); her grandchildren, Ty Eller, Brilynn McCulloch (Brian), Mikayla Wiskerchen, Elly Lewis, Olivia Romeril, Lexi Hartzell, Sydney Lewis, Emma Hartzell, Waylon Hammons and Willow Hartzell; her great grandchild John McCulloch; her siblings, Jackie Miller, Mark Gibson, Bonnie Layne, Jon Harr (Tammy), Lisa Clark (JC), Karon Hannah (John) and Jodi Cantrell (Rick); and her brothers-in-law, Bill Barga and Tim Cantrell.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Morton-Hunt Family Funeral Home (311 James E Hannah Dr, South Shore, KY 41175). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
