He was predeceased by: his parents, David Mougey and Elalore Sagraves Mougey; and his brothers, Douglas, David Lee and Roger Gary Mougey.

He is survived by: his sons, Kevin Mougey (Trish) and Douglas Mougey (Andrea); his siblings, Greg Mougey (Cheryl), Nadine Powell (Earl) and Carol Knapp (Tom); and his grandchildren, Tish, Drake, David and Mikey. He is also survived by three great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
