He was predeceased by: his father Roy Ison; and his siblings, Harold Ison, Christine Stelli, Juanita Burchett, Marcella Jackson, Evylan Bickett and Joyce Thomas.
He is survived by: his wife Carol Clay Ison; his sons, Jeffery Ison (Vicki) and Douglas Ison; his siblings, Orville, David, Arnold Ison and Joan Williams; his grandchildren, Jacob Ison (Ruth) and Sarah Gullett (Dustin); and his great grandchildren, Elizabeth Ison, Abigail Ison and Ison Sutton.
