He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Jerome Maggard and Joyce Elaine Gleim Maggard; his brother Greg Maggard; and his niece Heidi Cline Taylor. He is survived by: his daughter Katelyn Elaine Maggard; and his siblings, Matthew Maggard (Kim), Rebeckah Maggard, Donita Eskridge (Glenn), Vivian Riftel (Bob) and Alice Maggard.
