It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Hildreth Horton Maddox Jr. of Franklin Furnace, Ohio, born in Morehead, Kentucky, who passed away on October 15, 2022, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, H. Horton Maddox and Stella Oliver Maddox; and his brother Danny Paul Maddox. He is survived by: his wife Peggy Hutchinson Maddox; his children, Kelly Graff (Glenn), Doug Maddox (Cindy) and Keri Kouns (Aaron); his grandchildren, Ashlee Graff, Westley, Andrew Mabry, Corey, Hannah Hamby, Kaitlyn Maddox, Wyatt Maddox, Jackson, Karley and Luke Kouns; his great grandchildren, Tristan, Caidence Kerns, Josie, Waylon, Weston Mays, Devon, Paul, Maddox Mabry, Leigh, Colton Hamby and Grayson Maddox; his sisters, Doris Jolene (Bill Demoss) and LoVenia (Mick Casto); and his sister-in-law Mary Maddox. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
