Helen Salyers Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Helen Salyers of Franklin Furnace, Ohio, who passed away on February 7, 2024 at the age of 76. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Helen Salyers to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Dyer and Velma Dyer; and her brother Dallas Dyer. She is survived by: her husband William "Ralph" Salyers; her daughter Wendy Salyers; her grandchildren, Tanner Salyers (Randi) of Mount Vernon and Heaven Bowman (Richie) of Franklin Furnace; her son Shane Salyers (Tara) of Ironton; her grandchildren, Cameron, Gage and Lydia Salyers; her great grandchildren, Wren Rosalie Salyers and Aryeh Rain Bowman; and her brother Earl Junior Dyer of Franklin Furnace. She is also survived by many sisters-in-law and their husbands, nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks friends to consider making contributions in Jeanie's memory to the William Ralph Salyers Legacy Scholarship Fund through the Scioto Foundation. Checks can be made payable to the Scioto Foundation with the name of the scholarship in the memo line.
