With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Donald Gleim Sr. (Franklin Furnace, Ohio), who passed away on January 2, 2020 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl John and Frieda Emma Knapp Gleim; and his wife Opal Fern Maggard Gleim. He is survived by: his children, Donald D. Gleim, Jr. (Debra) of Franklin Furnace, Gary Lee Gleim (Michelle) of Wheelersburg, Larry Dee Gleim (Dorrita) of Franklin Furnace, Mark Randal Gleim (Cathy) of Franklin Furnace, James Henry Gleim (Brenda) of Franklin Furnace, Freida Elizabeth Otworth (Keith Sr.) of Ironton, Ophelia Carlene Hatfield (Everett) of Wheelersburg and Jennifer Sue Monnig (Jerry) of Pedro; and his friend Paul Means of Wheelersburg. He is also survived by 20 grandchildren; and 32 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the St. John Memorial Fund and Community Hospice.
