She was predeceased by: her parents, Esther Hamilton and Clara Opal Johnson Hamilton; her husband Joseph A. Tolbert; and her brother Earl Hamilton. She is survived by: her daughter Ruth Tolbert Secrist (John); her sister Verna Hamilton; and her granddaughter Ceceilia Jo Secrist.
