He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Matney; his siblings, Ralph Matney, Clarise McMackin, Rose Newman and Mabel Williams; his grandsons, Eric Gifford, Vincent Maynard and Hank Maynard; his great grandchild Christian Matney; and his children, Charles "Bub" Matney (Charlotte) of West Portsmouth, OH, Linda Gifford of LaPorte, TX, Mary Wright of Chapin, SC and Tina.
