With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of William Pettiford (Frankfort, Ohio), born in Ross County, Ohio, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 16, 2024 at the age of 78. He was predeceased by: his parents, Theodore Pettiford and Irene Banks Pettiford; his brother Wendell Pettiford; and his sisters-in-law, Sandy Bryant and Barbara Valentine.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Bryant of Roxabel; his sons, Sham Pettiford (Jodi) of Lattaville and Jelani Pettiford (Michele) of Frankfort; his grandson Trenton William Pettiford; and his siblings-in-law, Mary Ann Pettiford, Donald Valentine of Clarksburg and Robert Bryant, Jr. of Frankfort.
