She was predeceased by: her parents, Grover Beam and Gaynell Beam (Finney); her granddaughter Jennifer M. Brooks; and her brothers, Leroy W. Beam and Grover M. Beam (Junior).
She is survived by: her husband Charles V. Brooks; her children, Terry Brooks (Kathy) of Roanoke, Virginia and Kathy Jo Arbaugh (Don) of Casa Grande, Arizona; her granddaughter Susan Thomas (Kevin); her sons, Michael Stewart and Matt Brooks (Crystal); her great grandchildren, Kaitlynn Mumford (Tyler), Alexis Brooks, Ethan Ross, Dane Liggins, Cole Brooks and Evie Liggins; her brother James; and her sister-in-law Duanna Brooks.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Ross County Humane Society or St. Jude Children's Hospital in her memory.
