He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl O. Jones and Frances A. Jones (Davis); his wife Jennifer E. Clarke; and his siblings, Carlene Kelly, Patty Alexander, Keith, Carl, Johnny and Harry Jones.
He is survived by: his son David Jones; his granddaughter McKenna Layne (Logan); his great grandchild Emmelyn Layne (Becky Roberts); and his siblings, Irene Hopkins (Tom), Harvey Jones of Chillicothe and Paul L. Jones of Chillicothe.
