He was predeceased by: his parents, Benny Deckard and Twila George Deckard; and his siblings, Cathy, Randy and Ronnie.
He is survived by: his wife Peggy May; his sons, Ricky J. Deckard II (Stacy) of Lawrenceville and Paul E. Deckard (Andrea) of Monroe; his grandchildren, Mariah, Thryceton, Dylan, Brandon, Caleb and Andon; his brother Rocky Deckard (Anita) of Arizona; his stepsiblings, Lisa Didelotte and Craig Lemaster of Vinton; and his aunt Sharon Maldonado. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and friends.
