She was predeceased by: her parents, Meyer Michael Berman and Mina Laura Madison Berman; her former husband Jerry Lane; her husband Larry Lane; and her brother Victor Berman.
She is survived by: her children, David Lane (Kim) and Rebecca Smallwood (Tim); her grandsons, Joshua Smallwood (Aubrie) and Matthew Smallwood (Jordan); her stepson Thomas Lane (Jen); her stepgrandson Calvin Lane; and her siblings, Ester Harrington, Douglas Berman (Barb), Delle Berman and Yvonne Tocco (Tony). She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate contributions in Mildred Joy's memory be given to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
