She was predeceased by: her parents, John West and Mandy-Bell Moreland West; her husband Silas Deaton; and her daughter Janice Marie "Sissy" Deaton. She is survived by: her children, James E. Deaton (Gloria) of Frankfort and Norma Jean Stout (Lanny) of Chillicothe; and her grandsons, Jeff Marks, Jeremy Marks and Jimmy Deaton. She is also survived by great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
