He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles A. Caplinger and Helen Moody Caplinger; his stepfather Robert Burns; and his pets, Angus and Carlee Raye.
He is survived by: his sons, Jamie Caplinger (Amy) of Clarksburg and Andy Caplinger (Courtney) of Chillicothe; his grandchildren, Austin, Jordan, Tanner, Wesley and Raylee; his great grandchildren, Avah, Rosie and Lanie; and his brothers, Jim Burns (Julie) of Clarksburg and Rob Burns (Gloria Caplinger) of Greenfield.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 3rd 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Ebright Funeral Home (55 Springfield St, Frankfort, OH 45628). A memorial service was held on Tuesday, December 3rd 2024 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the Ebright Funeral Home, to help the family with expenses.
