He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse "Al" and Lillian Babb (Sturgess); his son Rodney Babb; and his siblings, Gene, Charles Reed, Henry "Hank" Babb, Betty Ickes and Joan Filliater.
He is survived by: his wife Kathy Babb of Fostoria; his daughter Tracy Owen of Fostoria; his stepchildren, Jon Nalle (Lisa) of Fostoria, Tricia Wagner (Ron) of Arcadia and Angela Kimble (Tim) of Arcadia; his brother Ralph Babb of Fort Wayne, Indiana; and his daughter-in-law Kelly Babb. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
