With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard E. Swisher of Fostoria, Ohio, born in Findlay, Ohio, who passed away on January 9, 2021 at the age of 68. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin Swisher and Velma Swisher (Fenstermaker); his former wife Brenda K. Peer; and his brother David Swisher. He is survived by: his spouse Jan Zender; his children, Kristye Swisher, Melanie Zender (Robin) and Neil Swisher (Gary Baez); and his siblings, Carol Shivley (Jim), Diane Lewis (Bob), Janice Swisher and Robert Swisher (Debra) of Gastonia, NC. He is also survived by six grandchildren.

Memorial contributions are suggested to the charity of the donor's choice c/o the funeral home.
