It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ramiro Cruz of Fostoria, Ohio, who passed away on February 15, 2025, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Sylvester Cruz and Gregoria Cruz (Landa); his siblings, Bobby, Ralph, Herman, Rueben, Sylvester Jr., Larry Arthur, David, Hortencia, Olga and Rosie; and his stepgrandchildren, Alyssia Garcia and Christopher Garcia Jr..
He is survived by: his wife Olivia "Vickie" Hernandez; his stepson Christopher Garcia; his stepgrandchildren, Angel Garcia and Ayden Garcia; and his siblings, Odilia Cruz, Mary (Joe), Georgia, Fred Cruz and Joe Cruz (Diane).
Visitation will be held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Hoening & Son Funeral Home - Fostoria (133 W Tiffin St, Fostoria, OH 44830). A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Wendelin Catholic Church (323 N Wood St, Fostoria, OH 44830). A reception will be held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 at 12:15 PM at the same location.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the Alzheimer's Association of NW Ohio in care of the funeral home.
