With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lois Oberst (Fostoria, Ohio), born in Clyde, Ohio, who passed away on September 26, 2020 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Olive Lucy (Shriver) and C. Arthur Werth; and her sisters, Helen, Mary Catherine, O. Eileen and Joanna.
She is survived by: her husband G. Paul Oberst; her children, Stephen (Karen), Mark (Tracy), Tim (Karen) and Leah Brant (Eric); and her grandchildren, Rebecca Noftz, Kathryn Harriman, Britton Oberst, John-Paul Oberst, Hannah Stine, Abby Stine, Jill Brackman, Brooke Affholder, Seth Oberst, Ethan Oberst, Hope Brant and David Brant. She is also survived by great-grandchildren.
Due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, those wishing to attend are reminded that masks and social distancing rules will be observed.
The family requests no flowers, and instead ask to pay Lois's kindness forward through memorials in the form of contributions to the Chaplaincy Fund at Good Shepherd Home, Ohio Living Hospice, or to a charity of the donor's choice.
