He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Marie Steinmetz; his children, Larry Hoffman (Marcy) of Bluffton, Marlene Gillig of Fostoria, Mark Hoffman (Teresa Brossia) of Fostoria and Lori Ann Schaffier (Frankie) of Fostoria; his grandchildren, Stuart Holman (Samantha), Morgan Heiser (Isaac), Megan Ferguson (Anthony), Ross Sears, Madison Gillig, Jake Hoffman, Ellie Hoffman, Nolan Hoffman, Ethan Hoffman, Shannon Bancroft (Mark), Frankie Schaffier III and Ashley Schaffier; his sisters, Mary Lou Stults (Wayne) and Agnes Peiffer (Dave); and his grandchildren, Kendall, Parker Holman, Michael Garant, Marleigh, Annaleigh Ferguson, Frankie Schaffier IV, Abigail, Jackson Schaffier, Jayden Sharninghouse, Ava Schaffier and Andrew Dieter.
