She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Hendricks and Minnie Hendricks (Breitigam); her husband Lester R. Carr; her daughter Janet Kaye Dauterman; her siblings, Alfred, Arthur, Rex, Herbert and Imogene Walters; and her great grandchild Manuel Sandoval.

She is survived by: her son Derald Carr (Brenda) of Fostoria; her son-in-law Rodney Dauterman (Pat) of Portage; her grandchildren, Ryan Dauterman (Penny) of Bloomdale, Brock Dauterman (Michele) of Monroe, Holly Deck (Michael) of Bowling Green, Jonathon Carr (Joni) of Sturgis, Jodi Carr of Florida, Lorinda Schaulk (Jeff) of Sylvania, Kristi Diaz (David) of Fostoria, Misti Rosebrook (Dan) of McComb and Heather Fuller (Marcus) of McComb; and her close friends, Bindie, Coco, Sophie, Mila May and MyMy.
