He is survived by: his parents, Washington T. Meekins and Annie Mae Meekins (Saunders); his wife Eliza Williams (Tucker); his children, Larry A. Tucker of Fostoria, Jason Williams (Shawn) of New Haven, Johnna S. Meekins of Fostoria, Demetrius K. Meekins of Fostoria and Danashia A. Meekins of Fostoria; his former wife Zorene T. Meekins of Tampa, Florida; his children, John Anthony, King David Meekins (Eileen) of Bridgeport, Robert L. Meekins of Bridgeport and Carolyn Cox of Tampa, Florida; and his siblings, Theophilus "Ted" B. Meekins (JoeAnn) of Milford, Roscoe Meekins (Noel) of Silver Springs, Maryland, Carnetha Padgett of Bridgeport, Connecticut and Warthan L. Meekins. He is also survived by 25 grandchildren, two of whom were raised in the home, Eshira and Janay Williams; and 3 great-grandchildren.
