He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil Nye and Martha Elizabeth Nye (Shank). He is survived by: his wife Janet Brown; his children, Jack D. Nye II (Sheila) of Fostoria, David R. Nye (Kandy) of Fostoria and Kathy Marshall (Andrew) of Fostoria; his brothers, Tom Nye (Darla) of Fostoria and Raymond Nye (late Carol Sue) of Fostoria; and his half-brothers, Robert, James and Steve. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, six great-grandchildren.
