He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold A. Coppus, and Gertrude V. Coppus, Sr. (Jordan); his wife Lois Aileen Coppus; his siblings, Duane Coppus, James Coppus and Betty Libby; and his great grandchild Bryce David Coppus.
He is survived by: his children, Richard Coppus (Connie) of Tiffin, Michael Coppus (Karen) of Tiffin, David Coppus (Sandy) of Bascom, Roger Coppus of Fostoria, Kenneth Coppus (Debra) of Fostoria, John Coppus (Laurie) of Fostoria and Janet Strausbaugh of Upper Sandusky; and his siblings, Donovan Coppus (Shirley) of Fostoria and Karen Gerona of Florida. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren; and 28 great grandchildren.
