He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Thorp and Clara Thorp (Brockschmidt); his brother Jack Thorp; and his half-brother Carl Chancey. He is survived by: his wife Sue Thorp of Fostoria; his children, Rick Thorp (Michelle), Jed Thorp (Sarah) of Cranston, RI and Leann Hardesty of Farmington, IL; his sister Audrey Braden of Gibsonburg; and his grandchildren, Logan, Maggie, Emma and Jake.
