Smith of Fostoria, Ohio, born in Kansas, Ohio, who passed away on January 18, 2021, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Smith and Louisa Smith (Hartzog); his wife Lucille Brose; his son Thomas R. Smith; his grandchildren, Jason, Jeffry Moehling, Laura Zoeller and Shannon Lopez (Tiell); and his siblings, Thomas, William Smith and Mona Williams (Smith).
He is survived by: his children, Frederick W. Smith (Darlene), Paula L. Moehling (Mike Mangett), Jean I. Tiell (Ronald), Christina M. Zoeller (Stephen) and Donald E. Smith. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren; 45 great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren.
