He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert F. Blodgett and Bernadine Durnwald Blodgett (Meyer); and his stepfather Chancy Dale Blodgett. He is survived by: his children, Angela Durnwald and Ryan Durnwald; his siblings, Marianne Jacobs (Ron), Margaret (Robert), Janet Singleton, Joe Durnwald (Illa) and Brian (Melissa); and his close friends, Beth Ohms Durnwald, Fred and Diann Hay. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Memorial contributions are suggested to St. Wendelin Catholic Church, Dry Haven or to the family's choice in care of the funeral home.
