With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dorothy A. Riser of Fostoria, Ohio, who passed away on November 2, 2020 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Freese and Ruth Freese (Detrow); her husband William Duane Riser; her siblings, Richard Freese and Ruth Wanous; and her stepbrother Dee Melvin Lafferty.
She is survived by: her children, Steven "Steve" Riser (Lisa) of Fostoria and Laura "Laurie" Martin (Darrin) of Kokomo, Indiana; her grandchildren, Rachel Miller (Evan) of Savannah, Abby Koerner (Mark) of Parris Island, Ellen Mora (Keith) of Port Clinton, Bailey of Kokomo, Indiana and Madison Martin of Kokomo, Indiana; her great grandchildren, Jack Koerner and Archer Miller; her stepbrothers, Michael Lafferty (Karin) of Findlay and Harold Lafferty of Houston, Texas; her brother-in-law John Gordon Riser (Sally) of Fostoria; her nieces, Cathy, Mary, Lesa, Debbie and Gail; and her pet Harry.
