He was predeceased by: his father Joseph Podach; his daughter-in-law Peg Podach; his brother Florian Podach; his grandson Jobe Podach; and his great grandchild Reid Podach.
He is survived by: his spouse Shirley A. Wagner; his children, Bob Podach (Joy Walters), Tom Podach (Carolyn), Joan (Tom), Jim (Denise), Don Podach (Anja), Virginia and Angy Shaferly (Matt); his grandchildren, Ryan, Neil, Britney, Caleb, Zach, Ashley, Chris, Andy, Trenton, Landon, Lakyn and Cyndy; and his siblings, Carl Podach, Mary Ellen Kessler-Hoover, Clara Brickner and Jean Ann Brickner of Tiffin. He is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the Seneca County Jr Fair Foundation in care of the funeral home.
