It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Werner W. Wendel of Fort Recovery, Ohio, who passed away on November 17, 2020, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Wendel and Elenora Wendel (Homan); his wife Patricia "Pat" Wendel (Bruns); his son Keith Wendel; his siblings, Novella Lauber (Albert), Ermin Wendel, Thelma Schindler (Irvin) and Virgil Wendel; and his sister-in-law Joan Wendel.
He is survived by: his children, Cindy Linn (Gary) of St. Henry, Pam Darland (Neil) of Burkettsville, Kenny Wendel (Lisa) of Celina, Kevin Wendel (Bonnie) of Fort Loramie and Mary Evers (Tony) of St. Henry; his daughter-in-law Stephanie Wendel of Pahrump, NV; his siblings, Millie Wilker (Jerome) of New Bremen, Elmer Wendel of Fort Recovery, Alvin Wendel (Martha) of Fort Recovery and Melvin Wendel of Coldwater; his sister-in-law Regina Wendel of Coldwater; and his mothers-in-law, Roberta Hercutt of Inverness, FL, Barb Homan (Ralph) of Inverness, FL, Louise Bruns of Greenville and Wanda Keiser (Marvin) of New Weston. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren.
