Virgil J. Krieg Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Virgil J. Krieg of Fort Recovery, Ohio, who passed away on December 4, 2020 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo Krieg and Alfrieda Krieg (Muhlenkamp); his siblings, Elsie Gerlach, Onalee Fullenkamp, Eugene and Kenneth; his brothers-in-law, Robert Gerlach, Carl Rose and Don Bergman; and his parents-in-law, Cletus Knoth and Armella Mangen (Nelson).

He is survived by: his spouse Roselma "Rosie" Krieg (Knoth); his children, Betty Muhlenkamp (Charles) of Bryant, IN, Roger Krieg of St. Henry, Sharon Metzger (Joe) of Fort Recovery, Nancy Wuebker (Randy) of Fort Recovery, Jerry Krieg (Lisa) of Lima, Judy Thien (Kenny) of Fort Recovery, Janet Jacobs (Mark) of St. Henry and Margie Jacobs (Jerry) of St. Henry; and his siblings, Lucy Rose of Celina, Marlene Schmitz (Ron) of Miamisburg, Harry Krieg (Pat) of Fort Recovery, Marie Sacher (John) of Celina and Karen Bergman of Yorkshire. He is also survived by twenty-four grandchildren and forty-three great grandchildren.
